Coach Slattery is a native of Fort Worth. He coaches Varsity soccer at Mansfield Timberview High School. He has coached both girls and now boy's teams. Coach Slattery played soccer at Crowley High School where he graduated in 2004. While playing he was awarded defensive player of the year and all state. He was chosen as one of the all state players to play in the Georgetown High school show case tournament. Coach Slattery played club soccer with American Eagles and Solar. He played on a club team called International Soccer USA where he played in Sweden and England. Coach Slattery went to Texas State University and majored in Exercise and Sports Science. In addition, he played on the Texas State Men's Soccer team as a goal keeper. Coach Slattery is married to Mallory Slattery and has two children; Avery and Jensen. Coach Slattery coaches both of his children in soccer. Avery plays for Fort Worth FC and Jensen for Burleson ISA.
